Don't you just love when Life gives your speed bumps? Your life is going along all too well and you think that your life can't get any better than where it was at? Then you Crash into a foam brick wall (you don't know its foam you think its real bricks). Well thats kinda where I have been. As I am sure most people have figured out by now Jason and I are no longer together which in the end is just fine with me. But I am going to take the next few minutes to vent about this break up.
So Here is the Run down... So Jason and I had been talking about maybe the possibility of getting married right... It was a tough talk as he truely wanted a temple marriage and myself well I was not so sure, I mean my family would not be able to see the one and only daughter get married. But we both started praying to figure out what was right for us. A week later Jason come up to go to church with me like always, He is fasting this sunday which is something I have NEVER seen him do in all the 8 months we were together right? So I know he is taking this serious and thats good! Well after church he ends his fast and we hang out. We snuggle on the couch and he is kissing me... Then the family all comes home/over and we have a family bbq he hangs out with the family and meets Dexter (my brother and andrea's new Boston Terrier SO CUTE!) then when we get done eating the yummy steak my dad made he says lets go for a drive... So we do we drive 1/2 a mile down the road to a coffee shop parking lot and he parks and jumps right into I have been praying and this isn't right and I think its best we go our own ways Yeah I was a little stunned and then I was pissed because his actions leading up to this "drive" were anything other than "we are going to break up tonight" so I didn't argue how can you argue about god giving someone an answer??? SO I go home do the girl think and sob, get mad, and realize he has his birthday present that I was giving him for his birthday that was in about a week from that day. So I text him and say I want the Wii back as we broke up before your birthday and I think its fair... Since this point I have gotten the Silent treatment like no other! I am Pissed by this point almost 3 weeks right! So I have a plan but wont mention it now as I know some Udy family members know of this blog! But really I feel like I just got out of a Elementary relationshop the way things are ending. I am happy that I see some true colors and I know there is so much better out there in the end for me. I wish Jason wasn't acting 5 years old and would just grow a pair and talk but I will have my day!
In the mean time I have just been having a blast going to the lake and getting some good sun! I hope I get a great tan before vacation but we will see.

A Woman's Worth
Women have strengths that amaze men.
They bear hardships and they carry burdens, but they hold happiness, love and joy.
They smile when they want to scream.
They sing when they want to cry.
They cry when they are happy
and laugh when they are nervous.
They fight for what they believe in.
They stand up to injustice.
They don't take "no" for an answer
when they believe there is a better solution.
They go without so their family can have.
They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.
They love unconditionally.
They cry when their children excel
and cheer when their friends get awards.
They are happy when they hear about
a birth or a wedding.
Their hearts break when a friend dies.
They grieve at the loss of a family member, yet they are strong when they think there is no strength left.
They know that a hug and a kiss
can heal a broken heart.
Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.
They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you to show how much they care about you.
The heart of a woman is what
makes the world keep turning.
They bring joy, hope and love.
They have compassion and ideas.
They give moral support to their
family and friends.
Women have vital things to say
and everything to give.
HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN,
IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH.

What we have been up to that last few weeks
So we have been on busy couple the last few weeks and I don't think times will slow down anytime soon. The summer festivities began back on May 15th, when the whole Thompson Clan and Udy and Bills went to RMR for the Midnight Drags to cheer on Jesten and his civic. Jesten was able to get 2 good runs in before blowing the car and calling it a night. I will have to post pics and video of this later. The following day we got up and went garage saleing. This has become a saturday tradition lately. So far Jason and I have bought a couch($20.00, a kitchen table ($5.00) and a Entertainment Center (a little more but still well worth what we paid for it)
The Following weekend was my dad or as I like to call him Daddy's Mckowski's birthday the big 46 lol, The whole family went to boondocks to ride go-karts and play mini golf. I don't think my family can actually play mini gold the correct way but it was alot of fun. Everyone came and I totally kicked Jason's butt on the slick track!
This past weekend my mom, dad, Kasey, Presten, and Kyle ventured down to Richfield to ride 4-wheelers. My dad has a friend who owns a place to rent them down by Marysvile and Presten has a condo in richfield as that is where he goes to school so we stayed there rode for 9 hours on saturday and came home on sunday. It was alot of fun we all really liked Speeding through the rivers and causing big splashes. It was also fun to see all the beautiful scenere.

Weekend Adventures!
So this past weekend, Jason and I meet in Orem for some delicious breakfast at Mimi's Cafe (they have good breakfast). While eating breakfast I noticed a shoe store across the street so I made Jason go with me. Funny thing is Jason was a bit more picky about shoes than me. Jason ended up getting a pair of flip flops (bad choice) and I got some fun new sandals and black heels. After the adventure at the shoe store we both wanted to go and re-look at a townhouse that we both really like and would be within our budget the only down side is that its in American Fork. Not sure with me working in West Valley City if that would be best or not. I guess its a good thing that right now we aren't ready to buy just yet I am pretty sure there is another step that needs to be taken first.. we are just waiting to see when that might possibly happen!
On Sunday we went to my grandma's house in Goshen, What a fun (NOT) place that is and saw the whole Thompson Clan.. They are some interesting people but lets not go there. Then we went to dinner with My mom.. then off to the Udy house we went to see Jason's mom who was not home so we got to spend some good time with his dad. Jason really looks up to his dad and really enjoys being able to get some one on one time with him. Then we went over to Jason's grandparent house where his mom, brothers, sister in law, nieces, nephew and cousin were all hanging out. All in all it was a good mothers day we got to both see out grandparents and our mom's.
So back to Jason's flip flops apparently if you have a larger space inbetween your big town and the next toe its pretty hard to walk in flip flop. But what a site it was to see Jason' trying to walk around. I guess he will just stick to his Chuck's for now on.

Lacey's Birthday
Lacey got a big colorful box from Jason. It was mostly air. Underneath the pink tissue paper she found picture frames with pictures of Jason, Lacey and Zoie. After Lacey had picked up 3 frames she found a 120 gig iPod Classic hiding next to the last 2 frames. In all there were 19 pictures in the 5 frames.
For dinner Friday night Jason took Lacey to the Tuscany restaurant just off the I-215 exit at 6200 south. It was very good and very filling. While waiting for their reservations they discovered a small grocery store just east of Highland Drive called "The Store." They thought it was an interesting little store: it had very exotic and unique products right next to generic food items like Western Family. It was very eclectic but Jason and Lacey liked "The Store." They even had Schmidt's Bakery pastries inside!!!
Saturday Jason and Lacey went summer clothes shopping but neither found anything good that day. They also wandered inside some model homes in a town home complex but were not impressed with the floor plans. They then went to Best Buy to look at iPod accessories and Jason took Lacey over to the car audio department to see if there is a better way to play her iPod through her car stereo than the FM modulator which is very staticy. Lacey was excited at the possibility of adding bluetooth and direct iPod control to her car. She is still contemplating if she wants to spend the $300.
They invited people over for bbq Saturday night and only Jason's cousins, James and Julie showed up. Good times was had by all.
Sunday they just went to church and hung out with Lacey's brother Presten who has returned for the summer after living in Richfield while attending Snow College this past school year.
Lacey is not excited to take her Math 1010 final tomorrow on her birthday. She has been studying hard and can't wait until it's over.
