Lacey got a big colorful box from Jason. It was mostly air. Underneath the pink tissue paper she found picture frames with pictures of Jason, Lacey and Zoie. After Lacey had picked up 3 frames she found a 120 gig iPod Classic hiding next to the last 2 frames. In all there were 19 pictures in the 5 frames.
For dinner Friday night Jason took Lacey to the Tuscany restaurant just off the I-215 exit at 6200 south. It was very good and very filling. While waiting for their reservations they discovered a small grocery store just east of Highland Drive called "The Store." They thought it was an interesting little store: it had very exotic and unique products right next to generic food items like Western Family. It was very eclectic but Jason and Lacey liked "The Store." They even had Schmidt's Bakery pastries inside!!!
Saturday Jason and Lacey went summer clothes shopping but neither found anything good that day. They also wandered inside some model homes in a town home complex but were not impressed with the floor plans. They then went to Best Buy to look at iPod accessories and Jason took Lacey over to the car audio department to see if there is a better way to play her iPod through her car stereo than the FM modulator which is very staticy. Lacey was excited at the possibility of adding bluetooth and direct iPod control to her car. She is still contemplating if she wants to spend the $300.
They invited people over for bbq Saturday night and only Jason's cousins, James and Julie showed up. Good times was had by all.
Sunday they just went to church and hung out with Lacey's brother Presten who has returned for the summer after living in Richfield while attending Snow College this past school year.
Lacey is not excited to take her Math 1010 final tomorrow on her birthday. She has been studying hard and can't wait until it's over.

ReplyDeleteGet an Audio Auxilary Cable, to plug your ipod into your car. We got one for $6 on ebay, it works fantastic and the sound is so much better than our $90 road trip.
ReplyDeleteAnd even better it doesn't cost $300. :)
